Two flowers, one bridge

Shapla (শাপলা) is the national flower of Bangladesh. Sakura (桜) is the flower of Japan. ShaplaSakura brings them together as a bridge for Bangla and English speakers crossing into Japanese.

Building a bridge between Japan and Bangladesh is at the heart of my work. This app grew from the same idea.

Jamal Uddin Ahmed

I hold regular Zoom meetings with Japanese partners on IT software projects. I could not find an app that taught business Japanese with meanings in Bangla, so I built the one I needed.
